.CA is the official country
code top level domain (ccTLD) for the country
of Canada and is currently one of the most
popular country level domain extensions.
The Canadian domain landscape has changed.
The .ca registry, once run by a co-operative
under the University of British Columbia,
was transitioned to a new, non-profit corporation
(CIRA) on December 1, 2000. The new registration
rules allow anyone living or doing business
in Canada to register an unlimited number
of .ca domain names.
You can register your own personalised .ca
web address, eg. bobsmith.ca or CompanyInc.ca
and that domain can be yours for life, just
as long as you keep it renewed. The only
cost for the domain name is the registration
fee, as we provide you with our standard
suite of FREE value added services.
There are certain restrictions as to who
can register .ca domain names but there
are no limitations as to what you can do
with it once registered. .CA domain names
can only be registered by residents of Canada.
